How Do I Copy an Assignment to Another Course?

Step 1: Log In to Canvas

1. Log into your Canvas account.
2. Click on Assignments on the left side of your screen.

Step Two: Open Assignment

1. Click on the assignment you wish to copy.
2. Click the three dots next to the assignment.
3. Select the Copy To option from the drop down.

Step Three: Select Course

1. Enter the name of a course or course code in the Select a Course field.
2. Select the course into which you want to copy the assignment.

Step Four: Select Location

1. You can then copy the assignment into a specific module and location within a course.
2. Type a module name in the Select a Module field.
3. Then select the module for the copied assignment.
4. To select a location within the module, click the Place drop-down menu..  

Step Five: Copy Assignment

1. Click the Copy button.
