Some technology is intended for home use and will not function properly in residence halls and academic buildings. Certain devices interfere with other devices, especially wireless devices.
Please do not use the following on the campus netowrk.
Wireless Printers
Pleae DO NOT use your printer in wireless mode. Almost all wireless printers can use a wired connection to your computer. You are welcome to use your own printer in the residence halls, but please disable WiFi on the printer itself as it leads to poor WiFi performance in the area and can be a security risk to your device.
You may use Berry owned computers and printers in the library and computer labs. Computer Labs for Students
Routers and Wireless Access Points
Wireless access points and routers are not allowed on campus. Wireless access is available in all academic buildings and residence halls.
Chromebooks
Chromebooks are allowed on campus and work with most websites, but are not compatible with software downloads such as Microsoft Office. They also are not compatible with software used in some classes.
