Install FortiClient on iPad and iPhone

  1. Open the App store on your iPad, and search for FortiClient. Make sure to download the app just named FortiClient, NOT FortiClient VPN.
  2. Open the app, and allow the app any permissions when asked. When it arrives at the login screen, select User Input and enter your name, email address, and phone number.
  3. Under Zero trust telemetry, copy and paste the following code under the option “Connect to” and select “Invitation Code”:

  • _VjE6dmlraW5nc3Zwbi5iZXJyeS5lZHU6ODAxMzpEZWZhdWx0OjRCNjQzMjYyLUY0MjUtNEM1Ny04QkEwLTNBMjE4ODUzMzE0MQ==
  • Make sure when you copy and paste that you do not omit the symbols at the beginning and the end.
  1. Once entered, all other settings will be entered by the Berry server. You may need to close out of the app and re-enter into it to force Forticlient to update.
  2. To connect to the VPN, when you are off campus, open the VPN campus and click the VPN tab. You should now have a Connect toggle switch. If at first it does not appear, fully close out of the app again and reopen it once more from the location where you are trying to use VPN.
