How to Upload Files & Documents to Canvas

Step 1: Accessing Your Course:

  1. Log in to your Canvas account.
  2. Select the course where you want to upload your files and documents.

Step 2: Navigating to Files:

  1. Once you have opened the course, locate the “Files” tab in the course navigation menu.
  2. Click on “Files” to access the file management area.

Step 3: Uploading Files:

  1. In the Files area, click the “Upload” button.

  1. A window will pop up allowing you to select files from your computer.
  2. Choose the file(s) you want to upload and click “Open” or “Choose.”

  1. Canvas will begin to upload the file(s) and will alert you when it is uploaded.
